Algae/Diatom Removal From Plants

So I had my new tank diatom bloom and my otos did a nice job cleaning up except for a few plant leaves at the very top of the tank. Is there anyway I can clean those leaves off manually? Or would you just recommend clipping them since they are so tall anyways?

I just rub the algae off the leaves with my fingers. It usually comes off pretty easily. You can trim them off as well.

Ok thanks I'll give the rubbing a try when I get home and if that doesn't work I'll just clip them
