Baby mollies! lol I can hear you all groan: another noob with a zillion too many fish!
This is sooo cool! I thought the betta fry were cool but these ones are like actual fish! Not just squiggly dots.
Ok....Im done....sorry for the :spam:

No harm in announcing new arrivals, that's great news.
livebearer fry are pretty cool as they are perfectly formed little fish
and are usually bigger than the fry of egg bearing fish.
congrats on the new babies thumbs2:

lol I have no clue what to do with them. And to be quite honest, I thought I had all male mollies. I've printed out three "sexing mollies" diagrams but they are all the same; the fish, I mean. I've had these mollies for...two weeks? So maybe I have all females and one was preggers? Dunno.
Really wishing I could work my camera properly. Any pics I take are blurry and usless for ID'ing. I do need to find the female or male and get him/her out of there. These guys are cute but I can just see my tank in a few months; mud thick with fish....
I think I'll just leave them in there and see who survives. I put a sponge on the filter intake. They (babies and adults) are making short work of my algae and eat crushed flakes. I watched one adult suck in a baby then promptly spit it out; my hopes of canabalism is quite diminished.

Congrats! I did the same thing... one og my mollys had a bunch and I left them in the tank. The other fish made quick work of them though. But I did manage to save one and I have him in a breeder now. Just over 2 weeks old! It's actually kind of cool watching him grow. lol
Good luck with them! thumbs2:
