Disease Help

One of my fish, tetra and maybe a second one, not sure yet, has a cotton, wool looking patch on its side. I read on another site that a salt bath is recommended.

Should I try this? Can it be done right in the aquarium? Will it harm the other fish? Is it safe to do and how do I do it?

Can someone help me or point me in the right direction?

The white patch is fungus. Melafix may help but fungal meds will for sure.

I've used Pimafix with success for Fungus

I also suggest Pimafix, I'd also add Melafix to speed the healing of the wound.

You are both right and I was wrong. Primafix, not Melafix.

I just grab the Jungle Labs drop in pellets for fungus. It works good, Remove charcoal.
