You'd think I would know better! Last night I was revamping a 100g
adding some new decor and moving some things around, so I lifted
2 large peices of African redwood out to be able to work better at
the tank, about an hour and a half later after much cleaning and
revamping I went to put the wood back in the tank and there lying
on the floor was one of my striped raphael catfish (talking catfish)
The poor thing must have been in a hole in the wood and fell out
on to the floor when I moved it, unfortunately by the time I
spotted it, it had met it's demise.
I had actually checked the wood when I lifted it out of the tank
but obviously not carefully enough, man I hate when stuff like
this happens, sorry for the rant folks just had to get it of my chest!

I've had that happen with my clown loaches and now have to count them when removing the wood. Sorry about that but it does happen. Darn it.

I have to do a head count of loaches when removing wood from their tank. If there isn't 5 tearing around in the tank, I know one is gonna fall out of the wood I've removed. I actually took a black plastic bag and jammed it up inside their hiding hole. Sorry you lost your Raph!
