I have recently cycled a brand new 20g fowlr as many of you know. Now that i am ready for a CUC, i have looked at my lfs for some candidates, the ones i am interested in are mexican redleg hermits, zebra hermits, turbo's, and 2 different "true crabs". Anyway, i was reading about these crabs and i am not sure which is better to get. They are Sally Lightfoot Crabs, and Hawaiian Strawberry crabs. Which of the 2 do you recomend?

neither.

Sally lightfoot crabs are horribly opportunistic and so are strawberry crabs but much less so.

I'm sure your research would have picked this up.......................

I would say neither also, especially in a tank that size with the Sally. They can and will get quite large.

I Couldn't tell untill he was in my tank. But, its not the end of the world, one leg isn't much difference when you have 7 more

He should re-grow it. I'm pretty sure crustaceans have that ability.
