I got an achara catfish last week. I was hesitant at first. I didn't know it off the top of my head (I thought it was a different name for marble sailfin cat). Fish like that can also go down very fast for no obvious reason since they are wild caught. But they all looked good so I got one. It turns out it is in the same genus as the marble sailfin catfish. It will get 24-31" depending on the source. It has literally grown at least one whole inch in the last week, if not closer to one and half inches. It hides in the back under some amazon sword leaves. When I feed it comes out and grabs some pellets. I can't get a good clear picture yet, sorry. I just can't believe the growth rate so far.

I was planning on converting the 150 to a large fish tank, obviously he would go in there. I was also planning on doing jaguar cichlids.

However, it looks like the owner at work my upgrade the 2 20" pacus from their current 75 (given to us by customer, they have been in that tank their whole lives) to a 220 or so. If so I could put it in that tank since it would be one of very few appropriate tankmates. I keep getting tempted to convert the 150 to other things anyways (planted community, reef, aphotosynthetic reef).I probabl have at least a month before the moves can start happening since they can't happen until the goldfish and discus in the 75 go to work in the new store.

Not sure yet. At least one in wall by the front door between the entrance hallway and the freshwater room. Hopefully 2-3 more in the freshwater room.
