I THINK I HAVE HYDRA!!!!!!
i looked at my java moss now, and all over the little green pieces theres little white hairs.

DANG. thought it was hydra.
and chrona, hydra is like a harmless parisite that stick to the bottom of the tank and has little arms.
Most people dont want any, but i do. You can get it by puting natural plants from rivers. The only bad thing is it eats fry if it gets the chance

Wow, that sounds pretty cool actually. I can't imagine a parasite with arms eating fry though...lol

Hydra's are cool..... I think they wouldn't go well in my tank, I'm just now deciding to plant my tank instead of having strictly plastic plants. The green water is still with me and there's not much left I can do other than planting the tank or uv lamp sterilizer. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you have hydra's, if not and they are roots, well I suppose that makes a funny story anyhow...

well, i dont think its roots.
Its thin white bunches of hair, and theres about 50 groups of hair through out the java moss.
I did not notice any white strings after i bought the java moss 3 days ago, so isnt kinda a coincidence i get roots so fast, yet it would be a coincidence if i got hydra so fast. hmmmmmmm...
