Has anyone heard of Pea Puffers? I saw them at the aquarium shop, and boy, were they adorable! I think these guys were babies because they were really small (about 1/2 inch long). I don't know anything about Pea Puffers (or regular Puffers for that matter), so could someone give me a quick breakdown of what they're like? I love that little helicopter-like swimming navigation Puffers do, and these guys were so cute, but I'd like to get some opinions to see if they're potentially right for me.

its one of those "small and cute, then it grows up" kinda things. Puffers should have at least 10g to themselves

Pea puffer is a common name for dwarf puffer. Freshwater, about 1 to 1/2 inch length full grown, can live 2 to 3 in a 10 gal, some will accept tankmates, others won't, need a more specialized diet than flake (most won't eat flake) consisting of frozen and live foods with snails being a must regularly.
Any other questions feel free to ask.....they are a great puff but watch out, you might get hooked!!!!:hmm3grin2orange:
