Well, we're cheap so we offered 80..we'll see if she bites. It's really dirty, and we don't want the fish that are in it, hubby wants to keep Cichlids.

WHAT? my lfs's all only stock hagen, and a 10g complete ( all have NO stand) is 100$ 20 with incandescent light hood and crappy heater etc- 120$ 20 with fluorescent hood and aquaclear- 140$, 30g crappy- 150$ 30 good, 175$

wal-mart had a raegent 30 with everything for 140, but i stuck with the 20 as hagen is probably better than raegent

Petcetera had their own homemade kits with their own products for 60, but i dont trust them

I don't think that is neccesarily an amazing deal. I think it's just that Cocoa gets ripped off so bad that it SEEMS like a good deal...lol

It's a little Ma and Pa LFS near me, called The Tropical Fish Room. There is another place called Pet Crazy here in town, but they're selling them for $50 while my other LFS is $40.

Well, you are talking prices in canadian money, ours are in american. I dont know the exchange rate, but that should clear some of it up.
