Kittens! Yay!

I just wanted to let everyone know that our cat Baby just gave birth to 4 lovely kitties! She has had a black, and orange, a blue and possibly a mix of her color (tortie) and blue! I can't wait until they are old enough to open their eyes and play!!!! Will try to post pics later if camera cord will work lol.

Kittens are lovely, but I highly recommend you have the mum spayed when the kittens are ready to leave at 12 weeks. There are too many unwanted kittens out there, and thousands of them are dumped or killed every year. In addition there is no guarantee that any of them will find good homes, even if you give them to people you think you know.

Not to mention that mating and pregnancy/birth carries a huge risk to the mum, as well as the risk of infectious diseases.

Don't worry, I already plan to get her spayed. The only reason she even got pregnant is because she escaped outside. Anyways, I know a place where I can get her spayed for about $35. I plan on keeping the kittens because I don't want that to happen to them. I know that horrible stuff happens, trust me lol. The manager here isn't going to mind anyways because she let me bring my cats here even though we didn't pay a deposit for them lol! She has 14 cats of her own, and plans on taking one more home with her once she can catch it lol!
