I know I have read it some where but can't remember or find the article. When should I seed my dead LR with cured LR? I have my aquarium going and added the dead LR the other day. The ammonia cycle is starting too. I remember reading it could take 1-2 months for my LR to become alive again. So... how long should I wait to purchase more LR and cured LR?
Thanks!

Wrong section....but anyways.....
You can buy more LR when the tank is fully cycled.
Dead rock will take way longer than that to become live if it isn't seeded, if at all. You could finish the cycle and add the rock, if you like. Or don't add ammonia at all and let the tank cycle with only the LR.
If you are adding ammonia with cured rock the ammonia will likely just kill most of the rock off.

:ssuprised: I thought I posted in SW forum section... sorry....
I did not add ammonia but i added API stress zyme. So for clarification, wait for my cycle to complete over the next few weeks and than I can add the cured LR to help seed... correct?
