Looks like Easter Grass

Hi Plant Gurus,

I just bought a used 55G and left in it was a plant that the guy I bought it from said was alive. He didn't know what it was, nor do I. I looked at the plant site that I was given a link to the other day but it does not show up in those pictures. It looks like dark green Easter Basket grass. I am not near a camera now or I would try to attach a picture...(Honestly, I'm not even sure I can). But the stuff actually looks like Easter Basket grass. It is in a little bit of water so it will be okay until I get my tank set up, but I have no idea how to take care of it.
Any help would be appreciated.

After further close examination (I am embarrased to say I didnt' look closely at it when I first posted) it appears to be JAVA Moss. I am glad I found out, but feeling sheepish because I jumped the gun & posted.....live and learn.
Those of you that looked at my post probably thought I was nuts....
