WHats the proper way of doing the water changes if someone can help me...after she lays eggs and the fry hatch....

She is laying eggs every 5 days, and am hoping the male HAS some sense<like we do at times> and NOT eat the eggs..

I sit and watch her lay but never see the male fertilize them...though I know he does at some point as I have had wrigglers from the last batchs...

Anyone watrched the male fertilize the eggs?

One last thingy -L- A man on a mission...

I do have a mesh I can place over the cone...ya or nay, to keep the male from eating the eggs...

Thanks for all the help!

Yes for the mesh on the cone....after they spawn put the mesh over the cone. Once the mesh is on, feel free to do water changes as normal. Just keep the temp/parameters as stable/similar as possible. Once the micropyle on the eggs is closed they are pretty hardy actually. Biggest issue will be fungus growing on the dead eggs then killing the live eggs.
