The Beach

I think the beach is a great place to find cool items for your tank. I used sand from the beach for substrate and rocks and driftwood for decoration all I did was soak them in water for a couple hours then scrub them down and for the sand I rinsed it out about 10 times.

Wouldn't beach sand have salts in it from the ocean? Kind of bad for a freshwater set up?
