anubias attatchment

hey

well i have had my anubias in the gravel for like a year... and yes i know how stupid i am for doing that. well good thing is although it hasn't grown a great deal, it is still quite healthy.

thing is i need a step by step lesson on attatching it to rocks, wood or decoration.

i know they are a rhizome plants but what does that mean in context of trimming, attatching to decorations and splitting the plant to replant else where?

You just attach it with rubber bands, fishing line, push pins, whatever.

What I usually do is just trim almost all the "roots" so that they are very short. Then attach the plant to the wood with an elastic band. Most of the rhizome will be exposed to the light and as the roots grow again, they will "grab" the wood tightly. Then, after a month or so, just cut the rubber ban d and the plant will have attached itself firmly...

and will this work on decorations if they have grooves for the roots?
