how to use emoticons and text colour?

just wondering
how do you guys use all the clapping icons etc, and how do you change text colour in your posts?

If you click on post reply (instead of using quick reply) you will se a smiley box where you can clcik on smileyes to add them.

to change color of the text, mark some text, click on the A with the black board under it an choose the color you want for the text.

ah yes i see those smileys but i ment the ones that move. like in this thread a little bit down the page has a icon taking his hat off etc.

The A is next to the underlined u and the globe.

Those emoticons are usually posted from photobucket etc and added as pics. to add a pic click the button that look like a painting with a mountain on it.

You can also click on "Go Advanced" under the posting box if you click the quick post button.:22: :22:

i swear i am missing these icons lol
none of the underlined u,globe or the a with black board icons are on my page when i click reply or quick reply advanced :S

could this be because i use explorer rather than mozilla?

i dont have those toolbars for some reason :(

mine doesnt have anything in the 'message' writing area its all jsut white space for typing.

oh well guess i cant do it then :(

Shouldn't be Explorer...I use it too...

Did you click on the first 'post reply' right under the threads? The ones under the reply box don't work for me either...

Check your options. There may be something in there that is not checked.

thanks hobbs it was in my options. it was set to standard messaging and i just changed it to advanced.
