This morning I noticed one my favorite female guppies (who was very prego) was laying upside down on the gravel. She was barely breathing and was all but dead. I placed her in a breeder box for about an hour and went back to check on her to find that she had passed. As I scooped her out to dispose of her body, I decided to press on her belly over a a small cup...and out shot about 24 babies. To my amazement about 6-8 of them seem to be healthy and have a chance of survival. I hope some of them make it! I'll be sure to update as time passes...

Edit: OMG...as I was typing this I just overflowed about 20 gallons of water from one of my 75 gallons. I guess I know what I'll be doing the rest of the afternoon! :help:

Nice work to save the fry, can't say the same about the overflow though, don't know if anyones mentioned it to you before but the water is meant to be INSIDE the tank.:hmm3grin2orange: Hope it didn't do any damage.

No major damage! We are on the first floor and it's concrete...just a lot of work! I was going to try filling the whole room, but it didn't seem to go as planned! :hmm3grin2orange:

I know...I know! No matter how many times I do this...it always seems to happen again...eventually! I think I get too many jobs going at one time and loose track of things. Sometimes I need to tell myself to SLOW DOWN!
