That's a black form of the rainbow or red tailed black shark. It's not a real shark, but it's pretty cool looking

If he gets 2 feet he is going to need a HUGE tank!

HE is a member of the minnow family! Of course he will want to school, but, sadly, he is different. Kinda like rudolph, so all of your "normal looking" fish make fun of him. Then he gets huge and eats them. Ultimate payback!:wink2:

It was a joke. They are really agressive though.

they actually will eat other tankmates, but only tiny ones since they have small mouths

question- youre setting up a salt tank too?

Are you just going to use a ugf?

Yea, i still have yet to get power head for it thouh. Is carbon bad for saltwater?

on my old 10g, i used a aquaclear with the same stuff as freshwater.
i used carbon still too. I think im just going to cycle the saltwater for a week, add alot of live rock , and use a ugf. A ugf and live rock should be sufficient filtration for what im planning to put in the tank.
Ill probably put in a couple of 2- spot damsels, and maybe a small anenome, and a cleaner shrimp.
