Introducing myself - LadyJ.

I live in central Florida, I am originally from the UK. My husband and I have a smallish pond. At the moment we have 6 regular goldfish. My daughter bought us 4 veil tailed goldfish and 2 shebunkins.

This is our second pond, so we are not quite newcomers to pond keeping.

We have a minor problem with one of the fantails, which I would appreciate some assistance with. One of our cats managed to hook one of the fish out of the pond, fortunatelyit was found it in time returned it to the water, had a little CPR to remove any grit from its body and hopefully stimulate it to move. On the whole it seems to have recovered remarkably well. It has a long stringlike tail coming from its anus which we know is faeces. Have been told that this could mean the fish is constipated, although it is eating well (TETRAFIN GOLDFISH FLAKES). Do we just let nature take its course or is there something else we could do?[/b]

I would wait and se as long as it eats.
