How would you even carry it into your house?

Crap, i dunno. If i did buy it, i seriously would rip out wall for a tank that big.
Ive got another problem. The huge ass freezer in the basement is REALLY huge, and when it finally goes to the appliance store in the sky, i cant get it out.
Turns out the godzilla piece came with the house, and the dumba$$es built the house around the freezer, and i wont be able to get it out through a door. Ill have to hire someone to cut it in half now.
WTF were the builders thinking
Severus

You could disassemble it pretty easily though.

I wonder what it would cost to hire someone for something like that? you could always keep it for a cheap casket someday lmao

Yeah, most freezers say "harmful chemicals inside"
Although it would be fun to chop it in half with an ax:hmm3grin2orange:

The house that I live in right now has a room that was built incorrectly. The laundry room was built too shallow. The back wall wasn't built deep enough so when the washer and dryer went in, the front of the appliancess stuck out really far. Since the laundry room is between the garage and the hallway that leads to the living room, there are two doors flanking the laundry room. Neither of these doors can be closed because the appliances stick out into the path of the door's swinging range. If I left these doors closed (meaning I'd have to remove the washer and dryer, close the doors and then put the washer and dryer back into place), I'd have to walk outside my house, and open the garage door to access the garage and my laundry room. No wonder my heating bill is so high...there's a direct open path from my hallway to the freezing garage!
You'd think that a house that is only 3 years old would have had correct specs when built.

By the way, when I read Chrona's thread title of "Gah!", it made me laugh outloud! :19:

That is rediculous! i guess there isnt much you can do about it now though.. except move a door or two

NEW DIY PROJECT! put a inch of acrylic around the freezer inside and have a 200g koi pond! lol
Severus

That would be pretty cool. Replace the cooling element with heating.

if i can hire someone to do it, i guess it would be worth a try when the freezer dies

Or install doors that open outways instead of swinging into the laundry room. If this house wasn't a rental, I would have done that right off.
When I moved here I had a gas dryer and had to buy a new electric one. I knew the washer wasn't fitting (I thought it wasn't fitting because it was an older model), and every dryer I looked at I measured with a measuring tape. The salesman was probably really annoyed since he kept assuring me that his washers and dryers were standard size. I was blaming all the appliances when it was really the size of the room.

i cant imagine it to be that hard. Its perfectly rectangular, so ill hire someone to lay some acrylic allover, and put a couple of canister filters, and im set.
Now i cant wait for the freezer to burn out

Haha, i didnt think of that. That would be the easy solution

Big acrylic sheets are REALLY expensive and hard to find unless you buy in bulk. You are better off with thick glass :)
