i don't know....but then again i really hate snails.

Maybe if i got 2 of these it'll take my mind off the other crappy snails i have...

Is their color/ shell patter a species thing or are there other factors to it?

What do you mean? This is a gold mystery snail - you can also get black and blue, that I know of.
