View Full Version : woohoo!!! finally "shyguy" is not so shy

you may recall i did a thread about a week and half ago about my new clownloach "shyguy" well heres an update
for those who read the thread you will now i had trouble to get him to eat and to make an apperence well a week and a bit on hes now not so shy and dances with the other loaches up the side of the tank and is about the tank alot more so hes had quite a confidence boost,over this week ive feed normally sunday the fish had some prawns and he ate some!!!! today i pile in some cucumber and hes going mad im well chuffed!!!!! so are the other loaches as they seem to like him,
p.s i also gave charlie the oscar some cucumber how disgusted did he look:hmm3grin2orange:

I was reading somewhere that clown loaches are like chickens in a way. They have a hyarachy / pecking order and if you add a new one that is bigger or in between the biggest and smallest the new fish has to find his place in the group. Glad he has settled in angelcakes. :ssmile:

I was reading somewhere that clown loaches are like chickens in a way. They have a hyarachy / pecking order and if you add a new one that is bigger or in between the biggest and smallest the new fish has to find his place in the group. Glad he has settled in angelcakes. :ssmile:

lookin' good... but it looks like they could fatten up a bit. Mine go nuts over TopFin sinking shrimp pellets and it makes 'em real fat!

its just that one clown that needs to fatten up all the rest are rounded,plump pigs:hmm3grin2orange:
