With the death of both clams at the same time I have been perplexed as to why. I may never know.
Something has just dawned on me. Not long before the clams started getting goofy I got a new live rock. I am not so sure as to how "live" it was when I got it. It seems to me that my tank has been cycling these last couple months very much like it did when it was new.
It has been over two months since the rock was put in the tank. It has only been the last couple weeks that color has shown up. Today I noticed the first life on the rock. Green and fuzzy. lol A small spot.
This is a fairly big rock. Could it cycling into a live rock cause water conditions that would kill clams?
