I was transferring my glowlights to my 20g, and one flopped out of the net and onto the carpet. He is still swimming and all, and i am just wondering if he may get diseased

Some stress coat should do the trick. One of my old Buenos Aires tetra jumped out of the tank (through this slit in the back I guess...) and was all dried up when I found him, but still twitching a little, so I threw him back in there and after a few minutes of erratice swimming, was fine.

No, but then again, my Buenos Aires Tetra were bulletproof. Not sure how hardy Glowlights are. Not much you can do about it anyways. You'll just have to wait. Maybe Melafix as a preventative?

no, melafix smells like a old teabag after a week. Ill add stresscoat.
Once, my old girlfriends killi floped out of her tank for 8 hours and it was still alive and alive right now. If that isnt bulletproof, i dont know what is

I was transferring an albino cory to my quarantine tank and he jumped out of the quart container I was using to acclimate him in and flopped off the kitchen counter and onto the floor. I was able to corale him with a net and as I was moving him back to the container to wash off the dirt, he leaped out of the net and back onto the floor again. That was 3 weeks ago and he's doing fine. I would've thought he might have injured himself between the 2 falls from 3 feet. Tough little fish. Guess the armor on these armored catfish do more than protect them from predators.

haha. I am sure he will be alright. My Uncle dropped one of his fish awhile ago, it was either a Flowerhorn or Synspilum and it made a thud when it hit the ground. He just picked it up with his hands out of panic and threw him back into the tank. Still alive to this day... about 6 months later

Weird thing is my new bloodfins arent schooling with the glowlights.
