Hi everyone!
I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a colorful fish to add to my tank.
I have a 10 gallon tank with 5 fish currently - Rasboras and very small Zebra Danios.
They all get along so well but I'd love to add one more fish, perferrably a colorful one.
Do you have any suggestions? I know I am limited to what I can add with this size tank so that's why I'm turning to you - I'm very new to this hobby and am still learning what types of fish are out there :)
Thanks so much!

I'd say you're pretty much at your limit for stocking.

Right now, I'm assuming you have 2 or 3 rasboras and 2 or 3 danios, these are both schooling fish so before you add any other centerpeice fish, I would up these schools to 6 each. That overstocks your tank out however.
If I were you, I would rehome the danios, they tend to be a bit feisty and really hyperactive and a 10 gallon just isn't large enough for a school of them. If you do rehome the danios, a betta or dwarf gourami or a couple sparkling gouramies would do great as centerpeice fish. Even then, keep on top of water changes and water parameters because that would completely fill up your tank, stocking wise.

I dunno. Schooling aside, he has 5 small, non-messy fish now. If he keeps an eye on nitrates and changes water appropriately to keep under 20 (prolly 50% changes weekly) he could add a male betta I think.
There are some gorgeous black and red and black and blue crowntails to be found. Bettas like betta bites (or whatever brand) small pellets - and pellets are cleaner food than flakes so that helps too.
Caveat Emptor: I am prone to overstocking though. . .

You should build up the other schools first.
I would pick what you like more, the rasboras or the danios and add another 5 to what you already have. They are schooling fish after all.
After that you can add something bigger like a dwarf gourami.
