African Leaf bush Fish Right place to post

Hi all

Dont know if this is the right place to post, I have a mixed tank with 1 african leaf bush fish, who I love to bits, he is a fasinating fish, he is feed on a mixture of flake, pellets, stick on krill tablets, frozen bloodworm, and live daphnia, blood worm. Not all at the same time lol, I lkie to add varity to my feeding patterns, they also have 1 day of no food, about 1 or 2 times a week.

He is great to watch with the live foo, as he will sit and watch before pouncing and his mouth is huge when open. obv I have to watch what goes in the tank with him as he can eat anything half his size, which is a pain when I want to add a new fish, lol, I was tempted the other day to buy some tiny barbs for him to eat lol, but chickened out, they where tiny and where 99p each lol.

I thought that was what I could see in the back ground, he is big. :ssmile:

Not too sure about feeding live fish - I guess it goes on in the wild, but I couldn't do it myself.

Hopefully later when you get the hang of it, you could try for a better photograph of him. But we'll let you settle in to the forum before making demands of more pictures. lol:hmm3grin2orange:

ill have to get my camera out, he started really small and one of a pair, that tank seems to do really well with growing most fish big quick lol, the only one thats not really grown is my angel, my mono has trippled in size and he went in just before xmas.
