As some of you may know I have a phobia about Rats, well this
isn't exactly a Rat but it's still a Rodent, a Hamster to be exact
and my cousin has gone and left me Rodent sitting while he
takes himself off for the weekend, lol

Meet Danny the Hamster ...

That's definately a gerbil... I like rodents (rats especially) but after having to babysit my class pet gerbils in second grade I've been totally traumatized and turned off to gerbils forever!! They skeeve me out, they look greasy

In the garage. LOL That's great.

My mom never let us (my siblings and me) have any type of rodent in the house. My brother snuck in a hamster once, and it got loose. Mom wasn't too happy about that. lol

you would be creeped out to know that i had a rat that lived on my shoulder for about a year. literally, i took it everywhere, including high school, and it just kicked it on my shoulder or in my purse. the only time he was in his cage was when i slept. he was the best. he never pooed or peed on me, just other people. it started this little fad at the high schools around my area, people started bringing their hamsters and stuff to school with them, it was funny. then when i got kicked out and sent to continuation school, my teacher sent me home and told me never to bring him back. he died a few weeks later. :scry:

saddest story of my life.
but rats can be cool too!

Raised hampsters and Guinea pigs for over 20 yrs, then my kids decided on Gerbils,
Thats a gerbils, Looks like the "mongolian gerbil" Way different in my opionion than hampsters,
Far better pets for kids then most hamster are.
Were due for several messes of babies here real soon!
