This is a terrible pic but can anyone tell me what is wrong with the gill on my angel? His gill has this little bubble thing sticking out. I actually thought it was a small piece of food granule that got caught but I took him from the tank and tried to brush it off. It's not food.

He acts fine but this thing bugs me.

Could it be one of those lymphocysts?

I couldn't get a clear shot today if my life depended on it. He's decided he wants to swim 300 miles an hour when I approach the tank. There's a definate piece of meat from his gill.

Probably a lymphocyst then. Tell me if it gets black, since that may be a tumor, and tumors are fatal and non-treatable. Have you tried giving the angel a cricket? that works for me with taking pics of my angel, since it slows him down
