Hi guys, I've recently been doing some research on SW aquariums. I'm thinking about starting one. I decided that I'd share my research with you guys. So if you want to check it out, click on the "Blogs" drop down, and click "Blog Index" and check out aquasteph's.

I'm proud of myself. :19:

Hope you guys enjoy!! I sure enjoyed researching!! thumbs2:

You definitely have done some research. :thumb: I know I couldn't name half those fish and inverts off the top of my head.

Didn't see the Morish Idol till the bottom of the list, that had me worried there, but then I saw it. :ssmile:

Mantis shrimp can be kept in a species only tank.

As for the fidlers I'm 99% sure they are brackish and I know for sure they can't live in an aquarium they need land of some sort.

mantis can be in tanks with fish, basically you dont want fish with spearer mantis and you dont want smashers with inverts. i know a guy with a 12g biocube and he has a smasher mantis with a bunch of corals, a firefish, and a clown.

basic rule is keep the mantis well fed and dont put in any super slow fish. the mantis might eventually turn on the fish though, you never know

I'd bet that is was originally published before that. Some of the info is rather outdated.
