Maybe 150 plus a few marble Angels in a 65g, there are a lot hiding behind the monster Java ferns

It is so nice to see a tank filled with different fish like that.

those ferns are 16" and are the mother plants of yours

Are there any special considerations on having that many fish in one tank? any complications? Are all of the rams one specific breed? How many rams did you start with and how hard was it to breed? Whew! Thats all I can think of to ask for now! Any info would be appreciated, and what a wonderful tank!

that's one spawn of GBR, those tanks have mega bio filtration and get a 50% WC 4-5 times per week. They are about 1 week away from being easily sexable and ready for sale

do you have any problems with aggression? i see tanks like this and start wondering if i could get away with treating rams like a school and putting 10 or so in my 37g.

probably not, all those fish grew up together and there are too many for any real aggression to occur.

Awesome breeding tank!! How do you do the "mega bio filtration?" Bio media only canisters? :help:
I'd love to watch that tank at feeding time.

I really do envy you when you get next to perfect water. I much prefer the blue rams to bolivian, but i'm thinking along the lines of getting bolivian because of my dreadful water conditions.

Woah! Sorry to hijack the thread, but there's a GBR where the other fish used to be! When did that happened? It's only in this thread though...maybe. Can't find it in any others.

Sorry - in the top left hand corner of the page. Where the big fish usually is - our logo thing. I checked the "Dwarf cichlids" page, and it's there too, so I reckon William just personalized it to dwarf cichlids.

Sorry - was just pretty surprised when I saw it.
