Tanks up and running

We got both the 54 and 75 going this weekend. The 75 has a 20g fuge/sump and the 54 has a 10g wet/dry. The lfs said to leave in the bioballs, but I took most out, should I take them all out??? We added more LR to this tank, has @ 65-70lbs and added more live sand.

2. The overflows are rather small and make loud gurgling noises due to not being able to keep up with the suction. Could we add another u-tube to each one?

I would take all of the bio-balls out. Their just going to cause problems later.

yep, rip out the bioballs. unmaintained theyre just a nitrate factory

OK will do. Since this filter does not have room for a fuge could I still do something like it? Maybe put some microalgae in a ziplock with all those holes?
