Quick question

Are the TopFin aquariums at Petsmart any good?
They are cheap but they look sturdy and I have a 10 gallon tank from them that's lasted so far.

I am planning on getting a 20 Gallon tank made by the same people

Is it good that the Topfin aquariums have more length than height?

thanks in advance.

also i wanted to try sand as the substrate..is this bad for any fish?
thanks : )

i have a topfin 15 running my 20g tall tank and i have no problems with it at all, a little touchy priming but its really no problem, i will need to upgrade soon as my fish are growing fast

I have a topfin 20L and 60g... Both strong and sturdy!

I think they come with a lifetime warranty against leak as well. One of the 20g I was given, had silicone that was peeling. I happened to mention that someone had petsmart, and he said just to bring it in and they would swap it.

For me I find most new tank out in the market to be quite good. Although some have very crappy filters and lighting. Other wise they are quite god. Though some with stands can be a worry.
