Joined the Celestial Pearl Danio Club today...

Hubby and I went to the monthly fish auction again! This one was short...over in no time...

Came home with 5 little Celestial Pearl Danios...they're acclimating now...paid $17 for the 5 of them. The other bag of 5 went for $15...lol...

Hope they do well in the community tank...

LOL...don't hold your breath...in order to get a decent photo I'll have to borrow hubby's work camera and muck about with lenses...

I need motivation to do all that...and the next 3 weeks I'll be too busy at work...

...after this job is done, I'll have more time...

Thanks! Yes, we did good! They list for around $7 US, probably double that here (if I could even find them in a store)...

Mine are really super shy...I am happy when I spot them in the heavy planted tank but they are beyond beautiful and cute :18:

Yay! Another member! I love mine too :) In fact, I just for the first time saw a little fry in the tank the other day. It's gone now, either hidden in the flora or eaten by the adults, but it is nice to know that my little CPD's are happy enough to spawn.

I know how hard taking pics of these guys can be. I haven't landed a decent pic yet.
