We just ordered this tonight [Only Registered Users Can See Links.]
A few people have been using these locally for a while and are very happy with them. It had free shipping for us so that was a big plus as well. Thought I'd share this with everyone

Good for you. I'd love to have an RO system but doubt my apartment manager would let me install one. To get decent water here, I probably have to move.
Sounds like a good buy to me but I don't know much about them.

They make them so you can attache them to your faucet like a python. I hope it comes in early this week before I have to buy 10 more gallons of RO. This is going to pay for itself in around 2 months:hmm3grin2orange:

I have the 6 stage version from them. They're pretty descent. Mine had some issues with leaking fittings all over the place when I first got it. And the auto top off valve would not close. Their customer service is pretty horrible but after a round of emails I was able to get them to send new fittings and a new valve. I still have some minor issues with the unit but it's making 0 tds water and I've been busy with other life issues so I just let it be. Not bad for the money though, a few guys I know here have them and theirs seem to work fine.

People around here have had good luck with it. The only thing I'm concerned with is our water pressure, but I'm going to check that tonight. I think and hope its alright, my boss thinks its at around 40-50 psi. I don't know if I can find anymore cash for a booster pump. I also need to buy some plastic hose to run it to my fish room so I don't have to deal with lugging buckets/ jugs between the 2 rooms, but its going to be really nice not buying 10+ gallons a week ro for w/c and top offs, lol
Someone is about to release an R/O system that produces no waste water. :19: I'll be waiting for reviews.
Currently it seems people are getting 1 g of R/O for every 2-4 gallons of water...that's a lot of waste.:scry:

Yeah I hear ya on that water buying thing. I am so happy to not have to venture out to Walmart once a week these days. Plus the costs associated with that sort of thing add up. Good luck with yours, hope you don't have any problems with it.

I use the waste for other things around the house. But a portable unit that produces no waste would definitely be of interest.
