I was wondering if anyone knows how to get rid of majano anemones. I have a bunch of them in my tank and they're getting out of control. I've already tried Joe's Juice and Apistasia X, but neither worked. Here's some pictures and a video of the majano anemones.
Thanks

Not to sure about the majanos, but one solution that I found very effective is the addition of peppermint shrimp. Once I plopped a couple in my 30L, over the course of a couple weeks, most of the aptasia were consumed. For the larger ones, they were nicely pruned, (or kept at a minimal level) until they died off.

I have heard methods of injecting them with near boiling water, but I believe with the addition of peppermints, they will be consumed...any other remedies anyone?

I do have 2 or 3 peppermint shrimp in my tank and they haven't done anything. I guess they only eat apstasia. Yeah I have heard of injecting of them with near boiling water, I just need to get a needle or something to inject it with. Thanks for you help. I'll try it and tell everyone how it worked.

By directions the commercial stuff didn't work very well. I had to jab the applicators into them for them to work, not just follow the directions. The other thing that works really well is taking an insulin syringe (or equivalent) and injecting vinegar. You can't do too many at one time with this method because it is so acidic, but it definitely works.

I will definitely try injecting them with vinegar. I'll then tell everyone how it worked. Thank you very much.

Injecting them with lemon juice should do the trick. You want to make sure you inject the actual foot, not the mouth or it won't work.

I'll try that too. Thanks!
