After our last rubbermouth got caught in the tube coming out of the sponge filter, we decided to wait to get more. :scry:
We have since put a fine mess covering over the tube so this can't happen again.
We went to Petsmart and purchased two more rubbermouth and put them in the Q tank with a couple pieces of driftwood. Can't seem to get them to eat algae tablets, but it looks like there is a lot of poop (looks like little brown worms?) in the tank. We don't have any gravel on the bottom, just so it's easier to clean.
We have an 80 gallon main tank with LOTS of driftwood. Are two rubbermouth going to be to many? I didn't think so for the size of the tank.
I have noticed that algae grows quickly in our main tank, especially down near the bottom where the gravel is up against the glass.
Before our other one died, it seemed to do quite well in the main tank.
