i love all anabantoids and i have begun trying to get the breeders specialization award in my club for breeding them. i decided to start easy with blue paradises and i never thought much about them other then they were half decent little fish that i have always kept in little community aquariums but i never paid much attention to them until today when i moved them to my planted tank. they have already eaten at least 5 snails! they really enjoy killing them, they are so curious the will stare at a snail and carefully wait until they get an opportunity to strike then bam! they pull the snail right out of their shell! these little guys are quickly becoming my favorite of all the labyrinth fishes!
