Feeding Zuchini.

Just a quick question people.
Do i slightly boil zuchini or do i just drop it in the tank?

I've always added it raw after washing it off good. Plecs have never had a problem consuming it.

Well it's peas 1, zuchini 0, according to the fish score cards.
I blanched some zuchini and dropped that in, even tried hand feeding them but they did'nt want anything to do with it. The peas on the other hand were a hit, i had to count my fingers after i fed them those.thumbs2:

Alot of times you just hafta keep offering the zucchini, as they will not go nuts for a veggie right away. Takes a few times, but once they catch on and come to realize how much they like it, look out!! They'll be beggin' for it!

yeah, stick with it and they'll come around... once they figure out how good it is, they'll be all over it.

I stuck zucchini in raw hanging from the side of the tank on a suction cup with a clip-type thingy attached. The Pleco hangs from it and totally devours the zucchini. Sweet potato, too
