Overflow leaks

Spent some major dollars this weekend getting a 75g reef setup. All ready to go and the overflow is leaking. It's where the two PVC pipes join on the box itself, not at the joint with the hose. Looking down inside the box you can see where the silicone is missing but I don't know anyone with small enough hands to get in there. Is there a way to fix it from the outside?

I've seen where you can tape a straw to a tube of silicon in a caulking gun, and use it to get into tight spaces,

Do you think if I tried superglue it would be safe?

It would be safe, a lot of people use it in fragging, but I don't know how good of a fix it would be or how long it would last, you could try it
