Big fight here this morning. Not with my tank but trying to get a photo of it! Best I can do with this camera today, I guess. Tank is a tad cloudy due to a peroxide treatment last night.

I also cut back my ludwigia, hygro and bacopa so plants aren't very tall right now. YOUR tank looks awesome.

PS.....Dark substrate looks far better than the white, too! I love yours/hate mine.

I laughed when I saw PV's second picture. My gosh! Had I even been near that my plants would have been ripped out and tossed! Goes to show what patience will do for you because his tank is beautiful now. When I get 4 little spots of algae, I'm going on about it and onto my algae war, cutting plants back, soaking them in bleach, moving them here and there, cleaning the blazes out of things. CRYING on the forum. LOL I may never cry about aglae again now.

Yeah. I think patience in my tank luckily paid off. Then plants grew just fast enough to keep from getting consumed by the algae. Once the brown dust settled the plants could breath again.

I'm hoping it was because my lighting was on 10+ hours a day. But since i just started my CO2 and ferts again I'll just keep a constant monitoring on things.

If they start going south again i'll back it down.

good example of over tweaking, the tank needed and your fert schedule needed time to balance
