Thought I would share a few pics of these guys. They are about 7" and one of my favorite fish other than the cichlids. :ssmile:

Great photos of great fish. I love bala's but I wish they would stay smaller.

Balas get massive, I'd love to have them in my 220 but they wouldn't get along with current stocking.

Yes they are difficult it is like trying to take a picture of a mirror. I can't tell you the ammount of shots of these fish I had to bin just to get a few because of the bounce back off the flash.:ssmile:

Super shots of those sharks - I understand about how difficult they must be with the flash bouncing back with such a large area to photograph as well as the speed they have. Why did you ask them to hold still especially for you:ssmile:

These fish are so hard to get decent shots of because thre scales are so reflective. :ssmile:
