I bought a new 30" dual bulb T5 online and it came setup for SW (10K & Actinic bulbs).
It is to replace a 24" T5 that I had on that tank which has a 6500 and a colormax in it. I am using this one on another tank now so it is out of the equation.
The tank is a 20g Long so not deep at all. Moderate to heavily planted with low and med light plants. CPDs and Crystal Red Shrimp - both breeding.
I am going to do one of the following:
1) Replace the 10,000 bulb with a 6500 bulb and leave the actinic.
2) Replace the actinic with a 6500 and run that with the 10,000
3) Replace both bulbs and use a 6500 and a colormax.
Anyone have advice for me? Thanks either way.
