Well, in anticipation of moving into my own place later this year (:19:), I have decided to buy new lights.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to pick them up until mid-March/early-April, but I will try to get them sooner. Also, due to University now, I won't be able to install them until later this year.
That's the bad news. Now time for the good news.
The light I am getting is an ATI Powermodule 8x 54W T5HO, not new, but it hasn't been used more than 6 months.
Apparently these are the best T5HO units that money can buy so you can guess that I'm definitely looking forward to getting them.

A guy near me is selling his store, and he is getting rid of the 48" models for $300. If only I had a 48" tank, lol.
Congrats on the lights...those are awesome!

Take note that this is not the guy's display, this is his sump/frag tank. His main tank runs on 16x 80W T5HO (2x 8 bulb ATI Powermodules) and 4x 400w Metal Halides

T5HO is expensive comparing to a normal T5, i have 2xT5HO and 2xT5(both 36"), i cant really tell there is different of there level of light. but the T5HO cost me 160 $, and the normal T5 is only 90 $

I am sure that corals can tell the difference!
That is an awesome light unleashed. You really can't do much better.

I know. The best on the market at a steal for $1000 exactly. I also heard about 5 mins ago from my importer friend (who I'm getting the light off) that he has some rare fish coming in soon. I'm just waiting for a list and prices now.

Well, the rare fish list has come through:
Mystery Wrasse (already got one)
Chevron Tang (Juvenile)
Tinker's Butterfly
Declivis Butterfly
Black Tang
I'm definitely interested in the Declivis or Tinker's. He hasn't got pricing yet, but they won't be cheap...............
