I have three kinds of tetras in my tank: neons, silvertips and bleeding hearts. About 10 days ago I put a Fluval 305 on the tank along with my HOB. Since i did that, all of the tetras have been hanging out down in the "valley" that I have built into my tank. I have been a bit surprised by this, because I read in the little write-ups on the left that all three of these types tetras like a "well circulated aquarium." It was the other fish I was expecting to not like the increased flow as much, but it doesn't seem to be bothering anyone else. I tried reducing the flow rate on the 305, but they still hang out down in that low point like they are trying to escape it. Suggestions?

It's new. Until they get used to it, they likely will hang out down there. Once they get used to the extra flow they should go back to normal. Neons like well circulated but they also will thrive in lower flow areas as well.
