Hi,

Just thought I'd pass along a few pics of my previous tanks to help me take my mind off of waiting for my substrate for my new tank lol. :)

Just a quick page that gives some pics I dug up of my Cichlid tank and the small community tank I had when I lived in Kanata, ON.
(please ignore the algae on the community tank - I was specifically letting it grow for my butter fly pleco's, to see how they, and the Otto's would eat. :) - if I remember correctly)

I know I have more pics, but for the life of me, I can't find where they went - or f the got deleted bye accident over the years. I know I had some of my original 40 Gallon tall community, as well as the 75 Gallon set up as a tropical tank in Richmond ON.

Great set-up's! I especially like the convict setup, that pleco in there was HUGE!

Thanks.

With the new tanks (and better digital camera's), I'm curious to see if I can get better pictures taken of my new tanks. I was never too happy with the old pics.

Yeah, that Pleco was one of my first fish - when I started with my 40 Gallon tank. He grew and grew. Took no guff in that cichlid tank at all, and was one I really missed when we had the ice storm and I lost both of those tanks. :(

Note - those white convicts are the result of breeding, as well you can see some of the younger ones swimming around that grew up and avoided getting eaten. Convicts are some pretty good parents to bully off the other fish :)

Enjoyed the shots. The 33 gallon appears to have an algae problem going on tho. Love the JD!

lol, yeah, thus the comment about I was letting it grow for the algae eaters at the time :) (note, the picture was from about the 1998-1999 time frame, long gone)
