two years ago in the spring this flower showed up in my yard, only one of its kind.. lived a few weeks, came back the next year too but only the one..

Nice shot. Red is a very hard colour to get right. You did very well. thumbs2:

thank you celtic fins, i take no credit for that pic it was the camera.. but after seeing your pics i will take that as high praise.... wish i could have dug that flower up and brought it with us when we moved but once it dies you cant even find a trace of it till the next year when it comes back

As odd as it seems, I love tulips, and that is a great looking one! I remember when I was younger, my neighbor had a tulip garden, and it was absolutely stunning. One of my fond childhood memories. Guess my childhood wasn't all that bad when I can pull that memory out. Thanks for the beautiful shot, and a smile from the past.
