Me and the wife will be celebrating 17 years tommorow, I keep telling her I must soon be just about due for parole:wink2:

Just out of interest, who else out there is married and how long?

My sons 5th anniversary is tomorrow, too. He and his wife "dated" for 18 years and was engaged for 11 of those. Obviously, he wasn't in any hurry to marry and nearly divorced last year.

That is cool, the long relationship bit, but it go's to show, a wedding band can put stress on the strongest of relationships.

I must point out here that actually, your tommorow is our today, and your today is our yesterday, so our anniversary is on the 10th Feb.

Just to make it a bit clearer, remember Xmas when your family turned up unexpected, Santa had past over here the night before, so, I had a yarn with him, told him I had a mate over in the USA, and if he could, pick up her family on the way past, and drop them at her place, she would be wrapped LOL

Happy Anniversary!
My Husband and I are coming up to out 9th Anniversary in September. This April we will hit out decade mark for our first date. Marrying my husband was the easiest decision I have ever made. We are as close to soul mates are you can get. He says he knew he wanted to marry me about 2 years before we started dating. I didn't clue in to that until he started going out of his way to walk by my work everyday to see how I was doing, lol.

I'm not married, but last October my boyfriend and I celebrated our one-year of dating and 7-years of living together. Actually, we didn't celebrate since neither of us really think of it (and if you ask him, he has no idea how long we've been together....if asked, he'd probably give an answer of anywhere from 5 years to 10 years).

Crackatinny...
I giggle every time I read one of your posts because of the differences of vocabulary...it's cute! :ezpi_wink1:
Years ago, I corresponded via penpal with an Aussie guy. However, his use of indigenous slang was so strong and over-the-top that I got to the point where I barely understood anything he wrote. I ended up not writing anymore because I just couldn't decipher his letters! I guess his heavy use of Aussie slang was similar to America's ebonics! Yo! :thumb:

Wow, it's our 6th anniversary tomorrow as well!! That's really neat :) Happy anniversary to you, and I hope you have a wonderful day. We aren't doing much tomorrow, it just isn't in the budget, but hopefully by our 17th anniversary we will be able to celebrate in style ;) lol.
