I'm almost out of B-ionic calcium part 2 additive but I never even open the alk one (part 1) so I don't need to buy both.

I'm ordering a bigger jug and kent has the best price on big als, so I'm gonna go with that, but the only problem is they don't say which part is for calcium and which is for alk. Does anyone know if its a or b thats for calcium? Thank you for your help

What do your Alk levels look like only dosing the calcium? There are far more elements that 2 part adds to the water also, not just solely cal and alk. You ever read the bottom part of the label on the rear?

Thank you kaybee. We actually found a DIY recipe and its tons cheaper. [Only Registered Users Can See Links.]

A guy on a local reef club has used it for years with great results (even with sps). You use dow calcium flakes, 2.5 cups per gallon of RO (only $17 for a 50# bag). He's had the same 50#bag for 4 years. I let you know the results. Once I get a magnesium test kit, I'll try the DIY magnesium recipe on the same page
