I see them in my part at petstores for 40 to 60 bucks. I see little ones at fish swaps for 25 and they are this big {..}

My god $60 thats a bit rough, Red I can't believe they sell them that
small, and to look $25 for them is crazy, no wonder you haven't
picked any up.

Superb photos. I'm so envious. They were the fish I originally wanted for my first tank set up and then I read about how big they get - drat.

They are easily obtainable in my neck of the woods. Can't remember the price though. I can remember being choked that I wouldn't be able to own them.

Your photos show the fish in all their glory - well done again.

Ummmm . . . that would require a whole new tank that would support a school of them . . . I think we have our hands full with our 36 and the two 10's we currently have. LOL

Believe it or not, we did see some in our local PetSmart a couple of months back. They were selling them for $30 each. I don't think they were able to sell them until they cut the price in half though.

Amazing how they can half the price and still make a profit when
fish don't sell.

Wow thats expensive CF.

I think it is because they are either out of season or just coming back into season. It's got to be one or the other. :ssmile:
