Hi I became the owner of baby goldfish approx 16th December, I have 7 left and doing well, about 1 cm in length. I eagerly want to add these to my main lager tank, this tank is fitted with fluval pump and water is much cleaner and safer. However, I'm worried they may get lost through the filter, or eaten by my older lager goldfish. When is it safe to add babies with the lager goldfish?? please help, thanx shaz :o)

How big are the adult goldfish? The filter part is easy, just get a sponge that will fit over your intake from your local fish store.

If you see any sign of aggresion from the bigger goldfish towards the baby ones, take the babies out right away.
